Welcome
home

Long before housing was a market, we understood the value of home. From the reassuring warmth of shelter, to the security of four walls — there is no greater comfort than having a space to call your own. But in the current market, more and more people have given up on their hopes of ever finding a home.

At Sunrise Foundation, we’re making it possible again. With our affordable and community housing model, we’re helping more Australians get their foot in the door and providing them with the support they need to get back on their feet. Whether you’re a family searching for a safe space to stay, a frontline worker looking for an affordable place, or a first-time buyer hoping for your first big break — Sunrise is here to help you find a home.

There’s no one - size - fits all when it comes to finding a home. Everyone’s priorities and preferences are different, which is why we offer various pathways, personalised programs and a range of properties that are as unique as your needs. From transitional accommodation to long-term leases, accessible spaces to affordable places — Sunrise is your home for all things housing.

Our model

Our housing model is designed to open more doors — providing safe spaces for a fresh start and pathways to purchasing your first place. By working with buyers, tenants and Government, we’ve been able to unlock hundreds of high-quality homes and use investment in the Australian market to invest in affordable housing solutions.

Our mission

We know that housing is so much more than somewhere to live. It’s a place where families are raised, communities are formed, dreams are followed and memories are made. We’re committed to helping more Australians find their home in community housing, while creating opportunities that positively impact tenants, homeowners and investors alike.

Our history

As a leading provider in quality community housing, we deeply understand the layout of the Australian housing market, and know the true value of home lies in the opportunity for long-term stability and security. Since 2020, we’ve been sharing this belief with the world and working to make it a reality for hundreds of people.

Our dream

In the current market, it’s easy to think the Australian Dream is out of reach. But at Sunrise, we’re hopeful about the future of housing and are working to make our vision a reality instead — an Australian dream that isn’t built on a quarter-acre block, but on the belief that everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to call home.

How can we help?

I’m looking for a new home

No matter who you are or where you’re from, we believe everyone deserves a place to feel safe, settled, and truly at home. Our community housing programs are here for individuals and families alike, and are thoughtfully designed to help you find home.

I need support with my education and study costs

We believe everyone deserves access to quality education and the support needed to succeed academically. We are here for learners of all ages and backgrounds and will work with you to support and achieve your learning goals.

I’d like to invest in sustainable housing

Investing with impact is about more than just financial return – it’s about aligning your investment choices with your values and contributing to the greater good of your community. As your investment partner, we’ll show how the two work hand in hand.

A housing model that opens more doors.

The housing crisis is a complex and expensive problem to solve. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t solutions. At Sunrise Foundation, we’re helping to find, fund and fill thousands of properties across Australia. Our model unlocks new ways to provide and access housing, using investment in the market to invest in sustainable and affordable solutions.

We know so many people struggle with the traditional rent or buy model and that as our lives change, our housing needs change, too. That’s why our model provides you with more flexibility — allowing you to access affordable housing, transitional to long-term spaces, as well as specialist disability accommodation (SDA).

Social housing can sometimes seem like an ‘in or out’ system. But our model is designed to help you move in, and move forward. With a range of property types and tailored pathways, you can progress at your own pace — from finding steady housing, to buying your first home.
